Residential Design and Building Guides

Building Guide

Mark and his team at Aim High Publishing Ltd have been publishing the Building Guide magazine and website for the past eight years.
This is an independent guide for homeowners doing building work which all councils (except Auckland) around the country distribute.
Building Guide covers the process of building and renovating a home, right through from initial starting points, through design, construction and product selection.
Building Guide is also distributed via Registered Master Builders, Certified Builders, Home Ideas Centres, NZIA and ADNZ members, and, as of February 2013, through retail magazine shops and supermarkets.
It can also be ordered from the Building Guide website ...

Design Guide is our new flagship publication aimed at homeowners in the design phase of their building project.
Written by architects, for homeowners (but read by architects), this superb publication features the unparalleled photography of leading photographers and insights from some New Zealand's top architects and designers, covering Site, Sustainability, Kitchens and Bathrooms, Interior and Landscape, and case studies from around the world.
Design Guide is essential reading for anyone embarking on a new house design or renovation.
